This poem explores the vast and mysterious nature of the beyond, using the color blue to symbolize the unknown. It delves into the concepts of loss, immortality, and the ethereal, reflecting on how darkness and light coexist in the universe and questioning the eternal mysteries that lie beyond life.
Blue
〰️
Blue 〰️
Milky tunes, honeydew
Blues and grey creep
No red, just blue
Blue is the body, which once had milky dew
Blue is the body which once had honey tunes
Blue the color of the ocean,
A large abyss of mystery
A large dense magical world
Dangerous on the surface,
Bliss escapes from the world once you’re inside.
Magical creatures life would not be able to touch
Creatures too ethereal for the living.
Blue like the blues.
That rose from pain,
Rose from suffering.
Forbidden blues.
Sweet, impalpable feeling.
You feel it in your bones.
Rose from the loss,
Loss of life.
Blue like the night sky.
Dark, untouchable, free
Limitless light within the dark.
But the dark consumes the light.
Does the darkness consume you?
The mortal nights.
Why do they return?
Dear blue starry night,
are you in fact, immortal?
